The night ended; it was emotionally exhausting, but well worth it to see smiling faces and our friends slowly letting their guard down, laughing and joking with others. By the end, only four needed to stay in the clubhouse; the rest stayed as our DA club members, found a place to call their own, and started working.
The goodbyes took longer than I thought, but it was all worth it.
