It was a good night.
Ruby had no bad cuts or bruises, which made me very happy. I hadn't had the chance to give her body a good look over until I had a shower with her; seeing was believing. In this case, it really put my mind at ease.
Ruby cooked breakfast; she was in the mood to do something special and missed being in the kitchen, missing cooking, and I wasn't about to say no; I would do almost anything to keep Ruby happy and content.
So much has happened so quickly that none of us had time to catch our breath.
