Cora POV It was almost three in the afternoon when I woke to an empty bed. I didn't even feel Gunner leave. I must have been too tired to notice. Was that a good thing or a bad one? Like, does that mean I trust him so much that his leaving the bed was unnoticed? Becoming comfortable around Gunner?
