Ruby (Red) POV
The night was rough. I know Demetri got out of bed at some point and came back not long after. I am assuming he needed to check something and get it off his mind. I understand that when something is on your mind, it won't let you sleep and keeps replaying in your head till you give in and try to do something about it.
We both slept better when he returned; it was like my mind said, 'It's alright, you're safe now,' and it went silent, allowing me to sleep. With Demetri cuddling me, sleep did find me.
After showering and getting dressed, we headed to the dining room for food, then went to the clubhouse to wait for the arrivals. I am eager to see who made it out. Peter was coming too and would stay there for a while to help the others. They would have seen Peter being beaten
