The morning had been full on, not just the time in the cells, but having Cora here, working with Hacker, had my mind straying to her, hoping she was alright, not being overworked, Cora does so much, a business of her own, that I know she works on regularly, her nursing, and the community park project, and then us with this shooting, coming up with ideas, and suggestions all the time, and then the emotional side of meeting her father for the first time, and trying to see if they can bond, and forgive the years he has missed.
Bet he's hunting down ways to take her uncle down, for the years of hurt he had given her. I hear snippets but try to stay out of it, unless Cora wants to talk about it, which is hard, because it's in my nature to want to know everything.
