The next morning, Axel doesn’t wait for things to escalate further. He watches the packhouse from the edge of the training yard, jaw tight and eyes sharp as another heated discussion breaks out near the perimeter, Daniel standing just far enough back to look uninvolved while still directing the flow of it.
