The day after Tanya left, Hope and I began the long drive to Canada. After nearly having her reject me, I feel much better now that Tanya’s time with Hope seems to have helped her to settle. She hasn’t accepted me like she had before, but she isn’t actively trying to reject me either.
I’m hoping that this time together, away from the packs, will bring us closer together.
Because we’re driving, it takes us nearly two weeks to get to Newfoundland, Canada. Granted, we stopped along the way to see the sights which was a lot of fun. We’d gone up through the Appalachian Mountains, stopping in Great Smokey Mountains National Park, then we’d taken the Blue Ridge Parkway north, stopping along the way until we reached Shenandoah National Park.
