After making sure that Matthew was tucked into his room and wasn’t going to go sneaking back out to lick some sprites, I watched Hope say goodnight to Tanya.
“Hope, she’s on the Alpha floor. There is nowhere safer for her than where she is right now. You and I both need to get some sleep,” I say.
Okay, I’m lying. Sleep is the farthest thing from my mind. It’s my last night with my mate before she starts another month with Tanya and I have no idea when I’ll see her again.
