I didn't sleep for sh.it last night. Not after hearing Lux on the phone with Giovanni Marino. Definitely not after our little conversation that happened after she attacked me.
For a moment there, I wondered if I had Lux all wrong. I knew we had some kind of instant connection, but I wasn't sure if that was clouding my judgment. After all, I know better than anyone that women can't be trusted. But despite hearing that she was on the phone with the don, I knew there was no way she could be a bad person. I just felt it in my gut. Just like I felt like we belonged together, felt like she was mine.
I wish I could have heard what Giovanni said to Lux. From the tiny piece that she gave me, I think I would have lost it if I had though. Does t
