I stood outside my own bedroom door trying to mentally prepare myself. Seeing Jayde all cozy in my bed always does something to me. Sabel's words echoing in my head are not going to help. I need to get myself together before I go in. And I need to go in quickly before Jayde decides I'm taking too long and comes to find me. She's done it before.
With a deep breath, I opened the door, ready to get Jayde into her own bed.
"Sorry it took me so long, Sprite. Got caught up with Sab—"
