"So, you gonna update me on what we're walking into here?" Savage asked.
"No."
"You don't think I should be prepared?"
"It's not like we're gonna get hurt or anything," I mumbled, eyes still glued to the doors of the courthouse. "The only one getting hurt will be Sab, and it'll be purely emotional."
"Jinx makes her sound feisty," Savage said. "You sure she won't act out? What if she flips and the cops get called? War don't got connections up here."
"If it was anyone else, I'd be worried about that too, but this is her family," I replied. "Sab isn't gonna hurt them. She might yell a lot though. Depending on how Iris acts, I might have to step in, but I won't let it get far enough that the cops get called."
