Nadine's P.O.V.

"Hey, can I ask y'all something?" I asked the girls around the kitchen island.
It's a little past one in the afternoon. Almost everyone has eaten lunch and went about their days. It was our normal group of girls that were still hanging around, munching on chips and fruit. We're about to start cleaning the place up, but we're all stalling.
"Is it about Feral?" Velvet asked with a giggle.
"Why would it be about Feral?" I asked, frowning.
"Well, you never asked if he took me up on my offer," she replied with a shrug. "He didn't, by the why," she added in a whisper, throwing me a wink.
I rolled my eyes.
"Okay, well, it's not about Feral," I said.
