My mind was swimming with anger, questions, and schemes while Kaizen showered. I wanted to plot something to make him uncuff me, but that would be pointless. It's not like I actually planned to leave. Maybe just this property, but not the town. Kaizen would drag me right back if I tried to stay anywhere else.
It pi.ssed me off for several reasons. Mostly because I didn't really understand it. I don't get why Kaizen's so obsessed with me. I don't like it either. Not that he has strong feelings for me, but that I don't understand why.
I wanted to ask after being with the girls this afternoon. I had so many chances while in his office, or the walk back here. The words were right on the tip of my tongue.
