"You know what time War's supposed to be back?" Jinx asked from the doorway of the common room. "And why do you have my son? Where the f***k is Glory?"
I clenched my jaw, trying not to let my anger show. Waylen and I were playing with some of his toy cars. He was actually smiling and playing like a normal kid. Something we never see from him. I'm starting to think that maybe he's not just a naturally shy, quiet kid.
"I'm gonna go talk to your dad, okay?" I said to Waylen. "I'll be right back, and we can go outside and play catch. How's that sound?"
