Jayde's P.O.V.

I stayed in my room until I couldn't stand it anymore. I didn't want to risk running into Baffle, but I knew that he also stayed in his room the whole time. I could hear him. I just wasn't sure if he was waiting for me to leave or not. He didn't seem thrilled with the way we left things, but he did it to himself. I wasn't going to take his back and forth cr.ap. No matter how much I wanted him.
However, it was dinner time, and I was starving. I hadn't even come out for meals, which is saying something. My stomach was growling loudly, and I was so thirsty that my mouth felt like sandpaper. So, I quickly ducked out of my room and made my way to the kitchen.
"There she is!" Naddy practically yelled when I arrived.
