I trust Kaizen. I really do. More than I've ever trusted anyone.
In fact, I think Kai might be the very first person I've ever seen as a true equal. He's just as smart as me. Just as strategic. Just as cunning. And apparently, just as willing to do whatever it takes to get what he wants.
The texts came yesterday. Three days after I signed all those papers with Jinx, Deidra, and Dozer present. Three days after I was screwed on my desk with some newfound urgency Kai possessed.
