War's P.O.V. ********************************** Something ain't right. Been thinking it for a while now. Probably my whole life. But with everything else I've been planning, I let it slip from my mind. Shouldn't have done that. The sh.it I have in the works took all of my attention. For years. I know it has, but there's nothing I can do about it. Not yet. I hated leaving Nadine behind, but I knew it would pay out in the long-run. Feral stuck to her side for me though. He protected her. Of course, none of us realized how cruel my mother was being. And that's the thing that ain't quite right to me. Julia and Shooter were never good parents, but something was always off about them. I could tell from a young age. I could see the guilt in their eyes when they would remember that we existed.
