"Understood," they replied together.
"Psych, I want you to go find Ice and Tats," I said. "We need to clue them in, only on what's necessary. They need to get a team together and start hitting clubs."
"On it," he replied as he stood up.
Then he was gone without another word, leaving just the two of us.
"Her dad and stepmom keep reaching out," he said gently. "Her mom's the worst though."
I sighed as I rested my elbows on my knees and hung my head.
Sabel's family keeps trying to talk to her. I know this because I bugged her phone. I don't care one bit. She's mine and I just want to keep her safe.
Besides, with Lux's ties to Gio, I needed to bug both of them for peace of mind. Not that I'd ever in a million years think Sab would betray me. She's just simply not that type of person.
