I can't believe I let Saylor talk me into coming to talk to Feral. She found me immediately when I went back into the bar. Delight was still spouting sh.it, but no one was listening to her. The only ones willing to even sit through her little show were Tyler and Nash. And that's only because they were working the bar, and she sat there, crying for anyone who was willing to listen.
I was about to sneak off to the back before Delight could see me, when Saylor's eyes caught mine. She got up and followed me through the clubhouse to the common room. And that's where I stripped off my sweater and told her everything that had just happened.
