Wraith, who was standing by the door, opened it for me when he saw me approaching with Jayde in my arms.
"Thanks man," I said as I walked past him.
All for Jayde to perk up so hard that I almost dropped her.
"Jesus," I muttered, coming to a halt to readjust.
"Wow, you look just like that other guy," she said in awe as she peered over my shoulder to gawk at Wraith.
"Whip?" Wraith asked, and Jayde nodded with her mouth open like she was entranced. I hated it. "He's my brother."
"Stop looking at him like that," I blurted, my tone harsh.
