Now I'm not so sure.
Shooter's been acting weird lately. At first, I thought he'd found out about my plans to take over next year. We'd kept it so quiet for so many years though. But I'm not so sure if it's that. Shooter just seems... tired. Like he's starting to regret a lot of his decisions.
I wondered if that was because Nadine was turning 18. We were grown up now, and he was absent for the majority of our lives despite being right fu.cking here. I think the weight of just how much he's fu.cked up was getting to him. Which is why I got pi.ssed right the f***k off when I saw Delight drinking and having fun right after I dropped her off at Shooter's office for attempting to hit my sister.
And now, now this motherfu.cker is going to give me answers. Whether he likes it or not.
