I woke up from the best sleep I've ever had in my entire life. Probably because I wasn't worried about someone watching me or finding me. For the very first time, I was able to relax. It was restful and had me feeling energized before I even opened my eyes.
For a moment, I didn't want to move. I just wanted to bask in this comfortable feeling. I wanted to enjoy feeling so refreshed before the day started.
But then I remembered where I was. And then the pain hit. It wasn't as intense as before at least. My calf is still throbbing, and my throat is still sore, but mostly I just ache all over.
I really thought that maybe I could ignore the pain and just sleep some more. Just for a little bit. But then my stomach growled loudly. Loud enoug
