So, obviously, I dressed for that occasion. It is almost summer in Dayton, TN. It can get hot as balls some days. So, I chose a pair of jean shorts that aren't too short, but definitely hug my body. I paired it with a flowy, light-blue top and a jean jacket just in case it gets chilly. My shoe options are very limited, so I went with a run-down pair of white flip-flops. I put on the earrings from my brother, the necklace from Feral, and the bracelet Birdie and Jinx got me this year. My blonde hair was down and I even curled it. I wasn't allowed to wear makeup, but I do have some clear lipgloss Claire got me that I put on.
I think I look normal. The other girls at school dress like this, or worse. But I know what Mom is going to say. It's what she always says.
