I followed Baffle through the dark halls of the clubhouse. He didn't hold my hand like he did earlier, and I tried not to be disappointed about it. He has a girlfriend after all. He was only being kind to me earlier. That's all. Nothing more.
Once again, there wasn't much for me to see in the halls. All the doors were closed, so I couldn't get a look in any of them. The closer we got to the bar — which is apparently where everyone is right now — I could hear music getting louder and louder.
