"Thanks brother," Brix said into his phone before hanging up, just as I brought mine to my ear. "Deidra," Deb breathed out from the other line. "Deb, what happened? Are you okay?" I asked immediately as Brix sat behind me on the bed, wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing my head. "I'm fine, everyone's fine, no one was hurt," she rushed out before sighing heavily.
