Today, I felt more loved and cared for by these men then I ever have. I'm sure they loved and cared about me before too, but today I felt it, really felt it. Everyone was kind and attentive and... it just really felt like family. Like I belonged.
I was waiting for someone to address the elephant in the room, but nobody did. I knew it was coming though. Maybe not tonight, but eventually.
Why did I leave?
I had no idea what I would say either. I couldn't tell the truth. Even if my friends thought I should. I couldn't risk anyone finding out about Odie with Delight still here. It's not like I can trust any of them to protect her after they failed me. I mean, she's still fu.cking here for crying out loud.
