"Here, try this," Feral said as he held a chocolate-covered strawberry to my lips. I stared at his face as I opened my mouth. His eyes were on my lips as he fed me the strawberry. He even swiped my bottom lip with his thumb and stuck it in his mouth.
Our eyes met and everything else faded away. It was only the two of us despite the beach being decently packed today. We were off in a corner all to ourselves, under the shade of a big tree. Feral had a whole picnic prepared for us. He's been so sweet since the moment I woke up this morning. I even got breakfast in bed and my gift. Which was a new necklace.
