"Okay, and that's why you guys are late?" I asked. "You were helping Thorn move her sh.it?"
"Uh, not exactly," Void replied with a shrug and a smug a.ss smile.
I narrowed my eyes at them.
"She asked us to help take it to her ex's place," Psych stated.
"What?" I blurted.
Why would Deidra be taking her bed to Theo's place? I thought they broke up? I thought he was marrying Sophie now? I thought-
"She asked us to take it to Sophie's house, where they both were," Void corrected Psych, throwing him a look. "Dragged the mattress to the front yard, dumped two trash bags full of memories on it, and then an entire 5 gallon can of gasoline on it."
