"Sit," Jinx whispered in my ear before kissing my head. "Eat. I'll bring you your coffee." So, I did. And Jinx brought me my coffee minutes later. Exactly how I like it; two sugars, four cream. Then he sat next to me at the table. Waylen carried the conversation, but Jinx rested his hand on my knee under the table the whole time. Like it belonged there. Like this was all normal. And I did nothing about it. My mind was reeling the whole time I got dressed, as we walked to their cabin, the whole fu.cking car ride to the slopes. I just couldn't stop thinking about all the weirdness. Jinx's change towards me, his use of more cutesy nicknames, how he knew my favorite plant, how he knew just how I liked my coffee, how he grabbed me my favorite drink and snack from the gas station we stopped at
