"Are you insane?" I asked flatly.
"Don't think she'd go for it?" he asked.
"Oh, I think she'd go for it," I replied as I looked back at the woman. "But I'll fu.cking crumble seeing her in nothing but a robe. If there are other males in the room... You're just asking for a disaster to happen, Adam."
"Fair," he said with a nod. "Maybe you two can go get warmed up with a coffee or something."
I looked him up and down.
"Are you trying to give us some time alone?" I asked.
"I'm trying to help you, man, but you ain't taking the bait," he replied with a laugh.
