I woke up alone, which I found strange. Harlan usually wakes up before me, but he hasn't left this room without me since we've been here. I let the thought slip from my mind, too comfortable to care right now. For a while, I just laid there, not wanting to get up.
I walked through everything that's happened since I first arrived at the Salvation Knights' clubhouse. All of it. Step by step. And then I went through last night about six times. I just wanted to make sense of it. Of the silence, the secrecy.
