"Lux can go as long as Psych and I go with her," Trouble chimed in.
We all ignored him. He's completely supportive of Lux being in the middle of all this. As long as he gets to play bodyguard. Which wouldn't work if we actually were to send her in alone. Trouble is a good fighter - skilled and trained, but he is not a sneaky man at all.
"We know you guys are scared," Psych said. "But the girls are right. We need them as much as they need us. Sabel has some good plans. We need to take them seriously."
War clenched his jaw as he looked around the table. His eyes ended on Sabel and stayed there. I could tell he wanted to keep arguing. He didn't want to risk losing his ol' lady when he just got her. I felt bad for him, but I also know that together, we could all keep each other safe.
