For weeks after our break-up, Elijah followed me around the school. Sometimes he would just follow me around and loudly call me a wh.ore and a sl.ut and whatever else he wanted. It was embarrassing when people would stare, but I ignored him. He would leave things on my desk in the only class we shared too. Sometimes it was my favorite drink, a snack, or even a flower. On those days, he was apologetic and sweet.
Other times, he would leave rotten fruit or spoiled milk cartons on my desk. One time he left a live spider under a glass. Another time it was a dead mouse.
That was the day that I snapped. Picked up the dead rodent and threw it right at him. We both ended up in trouble that day.
