I sighed as I watched Dove walk out of the school. I can't believe she agreed that pretending like I'm not part of the family was a good idea. I suggested it out of frustration, thinking it was incredibly stupid, that there was no way my sister and mother would go that far. I should have known better. The only person who ever wanted to claim me as I am, was Dad.
I should hate Dove for what she did to our dad, but I just can't bring myself to. I know she did what she did because Mom talked her into it. Mom used her as a pawn, but telling Dove that would destroy her. My sister knows deep down that what she did wasn't right, and she has to be the one to live with that. I'm just starting to wonder if she even cares enough to feel guilty. It'
