They had set themselves enormous goals. I wondered how long it would take to accomplish everything. There would be resistance from wolves who benefited from the existing laws. At that moment, however, all I wanted was to enjoy my mate and the peaceful life we had nearly lost.
Kael’s mouth moved close to my ear. “Do you want to finish what we started in the forest, Si?” I turned towards him. Mischief filled his expression. Heat immediately moved through me. He motioned for me to stand. “We want to check something,” Kael told the others. “We’ll be back.” Laughter followed us before we reached the barn door. They knew exactly what we intended to do.
