I could not believe what was about to happen. Why did it take Darius this long to come here? Four months was not a small time for anyone to be sorting out their feelings. I was sure the rumours about Maya sleeping with Nolan were what finally pushed him to move. The guy was lucky Maya had a support system. If she had been alone, I did not even want to imagine what would have happened to her. One thing I knew for certain was that Maya was not going to make things easy for him, and honestly, I could not blame her. Nolan was the first to enter, followed by Maya. Darius stood up immediately, looking guilty and remorseful in a way I had never seen before. His eyes went straight to Maya, but he spoke to Nolan first.
