Kael’s POV I completed the transfer of the business to Darius within a week. On paper, the company now belonged to him, and Nolan was listed as one of the people responsible for handling clients and contracts. In reality, Sienna and I still controlled the money, signed the cheques and made all the important decisions. I remained in charge of Kael’s Woodworks, while Darius and Nolan became the respectable faces the other Alphas could deal with without admitting they were still doing business with me. The arrangement worked better than I expected. Once Darius’s name appeared on the company records, the hesitation from our clients disappeared. Orders that had been suspended returned, and packs that had suddenly stopped answering our calls began contacting Nolan as though nothing had happened
