Kael’s POV
Leon had never been happier than he was while tearing through Alpha Moreau’s warriors. I felt the excitement rushing through our blood. I felt his pleasure each time an enemy fell, and I hated how much I enjoyed it too. Moreau had been a thorn in my side for too long. His daughter had become a plague in my life. Bianca exposed my identity, placed Viktor on my trail and forced Sienna and me to abandon everything we had built.
If the people of Livingston had not welcomed us, where would we have gone? It was time to end the threat. Rage and bloodlust filled me as I gave Leon more control. I glanced towards Nyla and saw her holding her own against the wolves surrounding her. Sienna was strong. I trusted her training and the power she drew through our completed bond.
