Sienna’s POV
Kael and I came out to shower, and I noticed no one was in our apartment.
The place was quiet. Too quiet. No Maya crying on my couch. No Nolan pretending he was not watching Elena. No Elena pretending she did not notice Nolan watching her. For a second, I panicked because I had prepared food for game night, and if those people had left without eating, I would have been offended. I had spent time making those bite-size foods, and nobody was going to waste my effort.
“Where did they go?” I asked out loud. “What about game night?”
Kael laughed.
“I asked Nolan to take the ladies to his place so I could spend time with you,” Kael said. “Do not worry. Once we are ready, they will return.”
