“No Alpha wants to pay, but none of them is willing to tell Viktor to go to hell. I suggested the packs unite against him, but they said it would cause a war.”
“It will become a war anyway if he refuses to withdraw the demand.”
“I know,” Darius replied. “But no one wants to fight Ironbridge Pack. Its wolves are strong, disciplined and ruthless.”
