"I assure you, she's doing fine... stable." Dr. Bennett, Lily's attending doctor flashed me a warm smile after jotting something down on her medical chart.
"Then why won't she wake up!" I snapped.
It had been another four days since I woke up. Today being the first time I had been let out of my prison cell to see her. Yes, prison cell, because that is what Wallace had turned my hospital room into after my attempted and failed escape to see Lily. I'd collapsed barely a step off the bed and woken up hours later to the news, with Benji having been chosen as my all round body guard. He wouldn't even let me hint at getting out. Neither would he let me work or get even a whiff of the investigation involving the accident.
As promised the doctor kept his word to get me eyes on Lily. O
