"I don't have to listen to them!" I growled, glaring at my office door where two of my supposed family members just slipped out. Or more specifically, where Duke had dragged his sister out, glaring at her the entire time. Whatever the woman had to say, Duke was not having it. Which was odd since she kept on insisting he was innocent.
"You don't have to, at least not yet." Lily walked over and wrapped her arms around me, grounding me. "Just focus on getting our son back safely. Everything else can wait."
