I walk back to the dining room and lift my coat off the chair.
“I'll see you later mom!”
“Cairo is everything alright!” She yells, and to be honest everything should be alright for her at this point, she has in fact gotten what she wanted.
I step outside and find Alec standing by the car.
“We're driving to the jet Alec, I need to get to California in literally seconds."
“WHAT!” Alec yells as he runs after me.
“Sir, you’re sure? The $200 million rough shipment is set for handover tonight and you've got a meeting to negotiate with the Russians at 12 pm sharp.”
I step one foot in the car, but his words stop me halfway.
He's f*****g right. We've been battling those Russian cartels about our shipment and in fact I'm supposed to be there.
But I can't wait.
