Cairo carries me like I don't weigh anything at all. My arms are locked around his neck, and my face is tucked into the crook of his shoulder, breathing in that mesmerizing scent of honey and expensive vodka from his skin. We aren't heading toward a fancy lobby. We’re literally walking toward a skeletal cage made of yellow mesh and rusted steel. It looks like an industrial hoist for construction workers.
