I’m lying face down on the bed, and what's left is to cover my whole body with the heavy duvet.
My face is a hot, swollen mess from crying for the last two hours. Every time I think I’ve run out of tears, another urge hits me and my body starts shaking from sobs.
And Cairo, that terrifying human being, is ignoring my calls after telling me he's on his way.
I don't even know what the hell he's coming to do.
My phone vibrates on the mattress, and I reach for it with a hand that's totally soaked with tears.
