After yet another long day at the fair, we are finally heading home. But with an added bonus. Autumn is in her car seat in the middle row with Rex, and Toby is in the very back seat. Shadow is in the front with me, and Ink is following us on his bike.
Before we left, Doc came and found us and let us know that Amara was still in surgery and probably wouldn't be out for a few more hours. So we decided to wait and go to the hospital in the morning. For tonight, we are going to stop on the way home and pick up stuff that Autumn can eat. Doc said that for the next few days, she needs to stick to broth, jello, pudding, and light foods. We don't know how long it's been since she's had an actual meal, so we don't want to push it just yet.
