Once Ink was settled on his bed, Shadow set Autumn on the bed beside him because she wanted her Papa. As he set her down, he said, "You have to be really easy with Papa, baby. He's got some ouchies."
She looked up at him with the most serious little face and said, "I not hurt him. I woves him. And I miss him. I's be easy." Then she crawled slowly up the bed and kissed Ink on the cheek before cuddling up next to him. Then she started to tell him all about her stay with my parents and grandparents and what she did with them. It was so cute.
I left them to spend time together and went to start dinner. When I dropped the groceries off yesterday, I had left a big pack of hamburger in the fridge. Ink had told me a few days ago what he wanted to eat when he finally got to come home. S
