I smacked Rex on the side and pointed to his mom as she walked away. "Go with her. I think that she could use you right now. I'm sure that this is hard on her," I whispered to him. He nodded and gave me a kiss and then stood up. "Hold on momma, I'll go with you," he said. And then he jogged to catch up with her.
Shadow's mom was sitting in a chair across from us, and she had been looking down. When she looked up at Shadow, she said, "I think that maybe your dad and I should do the same thing to Harmony. She's been acting out more and more lately. I know that it's because she's been spending a lot of time with Pearl. But I can't deal with it anymore. It's putting way too much stress on me.
