Once they were gone, I headed inside and fed Willa and Precious and made sure that they had plenty of water. Then I finished cleaning up the kitchen. Once everything was cleaned up from breakfast, I got everything that I'd need to make the pasta and macaroni salad out so that I could get started on it. And I also laid my cream cheese out so that it would soften. By the time I get my pasta salad and macaroni salads done, the cream cheese will be soft enough to work with.
I was in the middle of boiling noodles and chopping stuff up when Daddy and Peppermint came into the house. I had heard the bikes pull in, but I wasn't sure who it was at first.
