Shadow
Walking into the hospital room and seeing that girl in such bad shape was hard on all of us. Doc said that she looked bad, but he didn't say that it was this bad. Her whole body is just one giant bruise. I don't think that there is a spot of white on her.
As we sat and talked to her, you could hear how bad her breathing was even with the oxygen on her. She was having a hard time staying awake as well. And she was fighting to keep her eyes open with everything that she had. She was determined to spend time with Autumn. She wanted her last moments to be with her.
Amara explained to us where everything that we'd need for Autumn was in her house. She told Flower where to find the photo albums and all of the important papers. She even asked that we take the shadow box with the flag
